RIZO is a self-proclaimed "technotainer" and "l'ektronikaraoke"
crooner.
Eye Wanna C U (Gigolo 187) is a sound fusion of dirty booty bass and
Gigolo No Wave sung in a provocative sexy voice with irreverent lyrics.
G. RIZO is one of the upcoming talents of the New York scene.
She sings with IN FLAGRANTI and has also released on Tigersushi.
G. RIZO has been performing live ever since the summer of 2004.
She has had concerts in a variety of venues, including Icke Micke
(Kuenstler Haus Passage), Fluc Mensa and Future Garden in Vienna,
Dackantine in Zurich, Nouveau Casino in Paris, Transplant Gallery,
Scenic, 6's & 8's, and Nublu in New York.
Live, she's a one woman kamikaze - a commanding presence,
G.rizo brings a delivery that is raw, bold and soulful. Eye Wanna
C U is a fresh slice of New York Minimal post-punk.
G. RIZOs voice has such a sexy twang that is reminiscent of early
PEACHES. Interpreting dance music with a freestyle, pop-tastic flair,
ranging in style from electro, disco, techno, dub and RnB, one thing's
for sure when she gets on the mic its bound to be funky!! Viennas
PATRICK PULSINGER takes on the remix duties for the B-side with his
so-called Stalker Mix of Eye Wanna C U. PULSINGER, having remixed
the likes of DAVID HOLMES, PETSHOP BOYS, LAMB, GRACE JONES, CORNERSHOP,
knows well how to bring out the best in a piece of music. We think
the fresh sound and wide attitude of mix this will make it appeal
to Gigolo fans who also liked XLOVER and ADRIANO CANZIAN. JAM TO THE
