CHAIRS ON BACKS
is a French electronic duo founded in 2006. They are inspired by Detroit beats, the intergalactic atmosphere of Pink Floyd, avantgarde bands like Suicide, dirty Us-punk and George Clinton´s P-funk. The result is unclassifiable, yet extremely danceable. After some very well received gigs at the trendy Parisian club Nouveau Casino, the band was discovered by the highly regarded French label Missive (Spirit Catcher,
St Germain, Lanoiraude) wich released their first 12inch "Pervert Teens" in august 2007. On this first release, Chairs on Backs mix cold and raw machinal electric sounds with guitars and dark vocals.
