LOST COMPADRES, a Vienna based quintet set out to bring their own twisted version of AMERICANA to their side of the true west.

Formed in 2003, with a love for the music of singer-songwriter giants like Guy Clark, Townes van Zandt, Steve Earle etc., they soon started writing original material which led to their first album release “Dense” in 2007.

2008 saw their second release “Anyway” leaning more towards Rock´n´Roll & Roots Rock.

Countless live appearances and the foundation of “No Cash, No Hope”, a soon to be legendary annual Johnny Cash Tribute in 2004, shaped the band´s sound and vision.

2013 brought their latest release “Stray Dogs on Christmas” - a heartbreaking loser´s ballad on 7” vinyl.

So, whenever you´re in a “no hats, no fringes country” mood, check out these Lost Compadres, get hold of a cold one and you won´t get lost, Compadre!
