MEUKO! MEUKO! (TWN, Danse Noire)

Taipei based artist Meuko Meuko is an experimental music producer and Live performer. Each performance contains improvisation and elements of new works, combining disciplines of improvisation with conceptual ideas of noise, clubbing , strange sounds, field recordings that conjure at times ritualistic performances with sources tracing back to Taiwan´s own spiritual landscape. Between Taoist gods, Buddhist ceremonies, is the myriad of a cityscape with tropical humidity, it´s greenery enveloping the molding concrete city blocks.

ANSGAR

Hectic avatar sound with schizophrenic tendencies and erratic affinities. Ånsgar is a moniker of Oskar J. Mayböck, Berlin-based sound artist, vocalist, producer and performer.

IN MY TALONS

In My Talons, the project of Vienna-based artist Florian Pfaffenberger, creates a progressive club sound that reflects the restless click-logic of the present, which blinds out histories and contexts, but has no fear to express deep emotion. Samples from very different sources collide with each other and charge the music with an electrifying tension. Gregorian hymns meet Beyonce, rattling metal clashes against pop refrains, brutal grime bass rubs against bewitching synth melodies. A delicate balance of fusion and disintegration.

Grrrr, a.k.a. Juliana Lindenhofer, is a DJ, visual artist, and co-founder of Clinic. Grrrr`s focus is on forward-thinking sound design, transcendent in-your-face club music, and excess.
